JU Faculty of Philology has joined a consortium consisting of eight universities offering a joint double degree English Studies programme. The agreement was signed by JU representatives during the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
Aside from the Jagiellonian University, the European Joint Master’s Programme in English and American Studies programme will be offered by the University of Graz, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, University of Bamberg, University of Pécs, University of Barcelona, University of Paris, and New York University. The JU Faculty of Philology plans to admit the first students in the academic year 2019/2020.
During the signing of the agreement, the Jagiellonian University was represented by JU Vice-Rector for Educational Affair Prof. Armen Edigarian, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Elżbieta Górska, and Faculty of Philology Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs Dr hab. Władysław Witalisz.
