Kraków’s Model Confucius Institute will move to a new home

Early next year, the JU Confucius Institute will move to its new headquarters, which is currently undergoing intensive renovation. The project is possible thanks to a considerable grant it received for becoming a Model Confucius Institute and for its exceptional effectiveness in teaching. Thanks to this investment, both students and staff of the Institute will experience a substantial increase in the quality of teaching conditions.

JU students to pay less for city bike services

JU students to pay less for city bike services

Jagiellonian University students will be able to use city bike rental services with special privileges. Instead of the standard fee of 0.16 złotys (~0.04 euro) per minute, they will only pay 0.06 złotys (~0.01 euro). It is the effect of a cooperation agreement signed between the Jagiellonian University and Wavelo, the bike sharing service in Kraków. The programme, which is a pilot scheme, started last Saturday.

The document was signed by JU Rector's Proxy for Internationalisation Prof. Adam Jelonek and UP Rector Prof. Eduardo Flores. The event was attended by Polish Ambassador to Panama Leszek Biały.
