From Monday, January 15 it is possible to buy Jagiellonian University gadgets at ul. Floriańska 49 in the very centre of Kraków. The project by the JU Department of Communications and Marketing aims to meet the expectations of students, graduates and staff of the oldest Polish university as well as tourists who would like to purchase unique academic souvenirs.
The items can be found on the ground floor of a house belonging to the Jagiellonian University, whose interior has recently undergone a thorough renovation. The customers can choose from over one hundred high-quality products, including such popular gadgets as stationery items, mugs, stuffed toys, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweets, as well as premium products, such as hand-panted neckerchiefs, ties and bowties, as well as porcelain tableware from Ćmielów. It is also possible to buy books published by the Jagiellonian University Press.
The place is open from Monday to Friday from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at weekends. The JU Department of Communications and Marketing is also planning to open an online sales platform.
