On 25 May 2017, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University delegation, led by Prof. Chu Hung-Iam, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, paid a visit to the Jagiellonian University and met with members of the JU Faculty of Philology, including the Dean Prof. Elżbieta Górska and the Vice-Dean Prof. Władysław Witalisz.
The meeting participants focused on the plans for future cooperation, envisaging the exchange of academic experience, guest lectures and student exchange. They also discussed other fields of prospective collaboration in the years to come. The delegation also met with the students of the Faculty of Philology who are interested in studying at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The visitors presented them with the most important information about their university, the available programmes of study, the scholarship opportunities and general prospects of studying in Hong Kong. The attendees could also learn about the details regarding the admission procedure and schedule at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
