NICE Academy Kraków 2018 ‘Fostering the Dialogue Between Science and Practice in Career Guidance and Counselling’ is an initiative within the framework of regular meetings organised by the Network for Innovation in Career Guidance and Counselling in Europe).

The Academy will comprise 15 workshops as well as two seminars – European Society for Vocational Designing and Career Counselling and National Career Counselling Forum. Keynote speakers include: Jenny Bimrose (Warwick Institute for Employment Research), Mary McMahon (University of Queensland), Christiane Schiersmann (University of Heidelberg), and Scott Solberg (Boston University).

Aside from the international events, a Poland-focused day is also planned, featuring presentations by Polish researchers and counsellors. Eminent speakers include Prof. Augustyn Bańka, Prof. Piotr Jedynak, Antoni Wontorczyk, Prof. Jerzy Rosiński, and Prof. Adam Biela. It will not be subject to regular conference fee, and admission may even be free based on sponsors found.
