Meeting with Thomas Keneally, author of the book Schindler's Ark

The meeting is part of the project Pamięć (“Memory”), which focuses on historical education and disseminating knowledge about the Holocaust. The participants have an opportunity to explore the Jewish past in Poland, especially through visits in the historically important places and educational meetings with witnesses to history.

Thomas Keneally is a well-known Australian novelist, the author of many historical books. He is best known for writing Schindler's Ark, the Booker Prize-winning novel of 1982 which is about Jews and their life in Kraków during the Second World War. The book would later be adapted to Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List.
