‘Design frenzy’ is the name of the second exhibition devoted to publication design, particularly when it comes to books. The exhibition will be officially opened on 11 September 2017 at 5.00 p.m. at the Jagiellonian Library exhibition room.
Graphic design is very important part in publishing a book. The publication must be visually appealing and fulfil two main conditions: legibility and originality. The exhibition aims to present the past and contemporary projects of designers, editor, and typographers.
The exhibition will feature works by Michał Jandura, Paweł Krzywda, Agata Korzeńska, Artur Masternak, Marek Pawłowski, Władysław Pluta, Andrzej Tomaszewski, Michalina Wawrzyczek-Klasik, Katarzyna Wolny, Ryszard Otręba, Władysław Twardoch, Wojciech Regulski, Jacek M. Stokłosa, Janusz Wysocki, and Lech Przybylski as well as items from the collections of the Jagiellonian Library, Academy of fine Arts Main Library, Kraków branch of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, and private collectors.
The exhibition will be open until 6 October 2017. Monday: 10.00 a.m.–5.00 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: 10.00 a.m.–3.00 p.m.
