On 14–17 May 2017, an international conference entitled ‘4D Nucleome: The Cell Nucleus in Space and Time’ will be held at the JU Auditorium Maximum. The conference will be devoted to various aspects related to the functioning of cell nucleus and methods used to study it.
During six plenary sessions and two poster sessions, the participants will discuss the main nuclear functions, DNA replication, transcription, DNA repair in their spatiotemporal context as well as subnuclear structures and diseases related to nuclear functions. A special emphasis will be placed on technical as well as quantitative and computational aspects, by focusing in particular on the advantages and limitations of the various methods proposed in studies of the cell nucleus.
