Museums Night at the Jagiellonian University

Museums Night at the Jagiellonian University

Museums Night is a unique nationwide event, held in Kraków since 2004. This year it will take place on May 18/19. On this night it will be possible to visit Kraków museums for free. To mark the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, the motto of this year’s Museum’s Night will be “Museums in the Independent Poland”. As in previous years, selected JU museums will also open their gates to visitors.

The entire event will involve 24 Kraków museums, including their various branches (about 50 institutions altogether). As each year, a special commemorative coin available at a nominal price of 1 zloty in each of the museums will allow unlimited access to institutions participating in the event.
