Jagiellonian Ideas in Intercultural Relations

The Jagiellonian University Institute of Intercultural Studies and Cooperantis Association for Social Development and Intercultural Dialogue are holding the international conference Jagiellonian Ideas in Intercultural Relation, featuring eminent experts from academic institutions from Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Ukraine and Germany.

The topic of the conference is a response to the need for promoting Jagiellonian ideas as a Polish contribution to the world heritage in the past, present and future.

The event is part of the project Jagiellonian Ideas towards Challenges of the Present Time. In October 2017, the second conference – Jagiellonian Ideas in Past and Present – will be held at the University of Oxford, whereas one month later another meeting, entitled Jagiellonian Ideas and the Modern Concept of Cultural Rights is to take place in Kiev at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. The project will conclude with the publication of the book Jagiellonian Ideas towards Challenges of the Present Time.

The project is co-funded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
